Over the last few years, I have the opportunity to work on a lot of different projects in many different genres. This one is a new one for me: a book of poems.
Sue Baiman is an emerging voice in the realm of poetry. In her first volume, “Deep Breaths and Chocolate,” she explores the emotional reality of divorce and the aftermath of change. Some pretty hard hitting stuff here.
For this one, I took one of Sue’s watercolors and photoshopped it into a tablecloth/tapestry background for the cover. On this, I placed a symbolic representation of marital change: a broken wedding ring intertwined with a whole ring. Subtle but at the same time dramatic. Hope you all like how it came out.
She is currently working on getting these released in both ebook and print publications in multiple outlets.
The book will be released on Nov 1st thorough these and other outlets and is available for pre-order now.
